Alexandre is an anthropologist with a BS in Anthropology and a master's degree in History from Montana State University. His thesis focused on the development of anthropology as a modern American science including its impact on indigenous ecology in the American west. He also worked for a cultural resource management firm as an archaeological technician on several Native American sites in Montana. Through his fieldwork he has become aware that an intimate knowledge of the landscape and its history is key to overcoming the complex ecological crisis occurring today.
