Alyssa Vinluan is an avid traveler, scuba diver and philanthropist. She earned her BA in Spanish from Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame and completed her MPA in Nonprofit Management at Indiana University. She most recently worked as a fundraiser for Riley Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. In October 2016, Alyssa embarked on a solo backpacking journey, with plans to travel through 12 countries in 10 months. After living and working in Australia for four months, she set off on her Southeast Asia adventures and is currently backpacking in Vietnam. Alyssa can usually be found on a sailboat or scuba diving, the two places where her appreciation for marine life and the open water happily collide.
