Catherine Meyer recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Journalism and Environmental/Sustainability Studies with minors in Biology and Visual Arts. A native Coloradan, she credits her connection to nature to her curious mind, the countless time spent on her grandmother's farm and her Native American heritage. She has always known that she wanted to be a writer and make a difference. She aspires to become an environmental/science writer – wherever that may lead. When not busy with school, Catherine also helps in a research lab investigating the effects of environmental toxicants on human reproduction. On those rare occasions when she finds free time, she loves to go home and spend time with her family and outdoors in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
