Emily recently graduated from Kenyon College with a BA in English and a concentration in Creative Writing. Before moving to college, her backyard was home to everything from bobcats to baby rabbits, so she has always felt a deep connection to wildlife. Her love of the outdoors, combined with her experience as an animal shelter volunteer and her parents’ dedication to an organic diet, led her to become a staunch advocate of animal rights. She hopes that her work at Izilwane will help make a difference in how people view their fellow creatures. Besides animals, her interests include writing, music, psychology, and extreme sports.
