Born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, George recently graduated from Clemson University with a BA in History and a minor in Anthropology. His academic interests include ethnic/cultural identities, race relations, the rise of right-wing extremism, rural vs. urban, the history and anthropology of tourism and travel, the history of Hungary, and sustainability.
