Jess earned her BA in Anthropology at SUNY Plattsburgh. During her undergraduate years she had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua, Turkey and Mexico through various study abroad programs. Her interests include ethnography, gender and women’s studies, sustainable development, and food and culture. She will be attending San Francisco State University this fall and intends on eventually pursuing a PhD in Cultural Anthropology
