Julia Osterman's passion for conservation began as a volunteer and later as a field assistant on a research project in Madagascar. She works at The Nature Conservancy and has contributed numerous book reviews and interviews as a writer for Voices for Biodiversity. She has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Yale and loves learning about the interconnections between people and the environment.
