Lourens Durand is a retired Food Scientist, qualified Biome Guide, photographer and writer. He has work published in wildlife and creativity titles, as well as a contribution to the book 101 Kruger Tales. When Lourens is not writing he pursues his passion for photography, with success at club, national and international salon levels, as well as enjoying stock photography sales. He believes in the therapeutic and calming influence of nature as a place where one can find inner peace.
