Massimiliano Morelli is an Italian environmental and evolutionary biologist and a post-doc researcher at the Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection of National Research Council (CNR). His research field is mainly devoted to discovery and genomic characterization of plant viruses through molecular and biotechnological techniques. Recently he has been member of the CNR research team projecting the Italian Network of Biological Genetic Resources.
