Merlin Pratsch is a freelance writer with a focus on the environment and human rights. He holds a BA in political and cultural science from the University of Bremen and an MSc in sustainable development from the University of Kiel. He has monitored macaws on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, conducted field research on human migration due to environmental degradation in Albania and worked on a project fighting the illegal wildlife trade online.
