Milan is a passionate social justice and environmental activist from South Africa. Currently studying economics, politics and philosophy at the University of Cape Town, he has been a women’s rights activist at South Africa’s largest women’s shelter — The Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children — since he was 17. Milan is also an environmental activist with Greenpeace Africa and writes for their blog about the challenges of and solutions to environmental issues, and how those issues intersect with other social justice causes.
