Mohit Raj is from India and recently obtained his Bachelor’s degree in architecture from Sunder Deep College in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. His architectural thesis proposal on the Ecotourism Interpretation Center at Loktak Lake led him to pursue a masters in Parametric Design, and the government of Manipur has stated that his proposal might prove very beneficial for the conservation of the lake, biodiversity, the tribal community, and exposure of Sangai.
The beauty of architecture has always fascinated Raj. The prospect of creating sustainable and bamboo architecture under reputed architect Revathi Kamath motivated him to pursue further studies. The relationship between architecture, nature and biodiversity sparked his desire to merge parametric design with the natural environment.
