Born and based on the west coast of Canada, Oriane Lee’s journeys have taken her from meditating in a Buddhist monastery in Burma to horseback riding the Okavango Delta of Botswana, in the sacred mountains of Ecuador, and with the wild herds of caribou in BC’s Chilcotin Country. Her work as an educator and mentor includes the Art of Spiritual Guidance, Equine Guided Learning and Buddhist Somatic Meditation practice.
Oriane Lee’s writing has appeared in The Zambezi Traveller, Harare Magazine, Canadian Horse Journal, and online journals Equitrekking.com, VoicesforBiodiveristy.org, Ecology.com and LifeasaHuman.com. Her memoir, The Geography of Belonging. A Love Story of Horses & Africa, was published in 2023 by Salmonberry Arts & Publishing.
