Ron Dans has been an avid photographer since his parents gave him his first camera at the age of 14 (a Yashika 120). He has always been drawn to both people and nature, particularly the forest and ocean. He recently discovered a unique way to recapture the magic he felt spending endless hours in the darkroom as a teenager.
Because he lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he has an amazing variety of landscapes to explore. Lately he find himself drawn to scenes that most people overlook, because they are either too small or don't seem to have much to tell us. It is just those seemingly mundane scenes that attract his eye and challenge him to find their hidden beauty.
