Shraddha is a graduate student in Science Journalism at Boston University. Prior to enrolling at BU, she received her undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts (English and Chemistry) and Biology from Murray State University in Murray, KY. A native of India, she lived there as an adult for nearly eight years, where she acquired her taste for mangoes and her love for elephants. She then migrated to the Middle East for five years, where she had the chance to ride camels (very uncomfortably!) and learned to never underestimate the importance of rainfall. Her last continental move brought her to the United States in 2003, where she has lived in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and, now, Massachusetts. In her free time, she reads, cooks and bakes with her fiancé and catches up on missed TV shows (her current obsession is Downton Abbey).
