Tannyr is currently a senior at Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She is majoring in Environmental Studies and minoring in Visual Arts with a concentration in Photography. She was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota,where family vacations ignited her passion for nature and travel. Tannyr's studies have taken her to Maui to study humpback whales, Ecuador (to study the ecology and biodiversity of the Amazon, the Galapagos Islands to study the geology and ecology of the islands. She also just completed a semester abroad in Cairns, Australia. Her passions include scuba diving, travel, the ocean and tropical rainforests. Tannyr hopes to do conservation and restoration work with cetaceans,elasmobranchs, coral reefs and/or tropical rainforests.
