The Green Fire Times, a publication dedicated to sustainability in the southwest, published an article by Voices for Biodiversity’s director Kira Johnson. The article discusses biodiversity conservation in New Mexico and the surrounding area, showcases Voices for Biodiversity’s New Mexican contributors and puts out a call to the Green Fire Time’s readers to contribute their stories. The article shares, “The Voices for Biodiversity team helps those who do not have the writing, photography, video skills or tools needed to share their stories by providing support to structure, edit, transcribe and translate their stories. Through publication, we are raising awareness about biodiversity loss, including diverse voices in conversations about conservation and leveraging individuals into greater opportunities to work on environmental issues, particularly in their local communities.”
